Why “Three Canyons”?

Like we said, as it is still for many today, it wasn’t that long ago that the average Jane/Joe spent more time outdoors than in. The idea for the name came from our founders ancestors that lived that reality. With roots in California, his ancestors lived in three countries without ever leaving their doorstep. A land grant of 6,600+ acres came with a map delineating the property lines and any geological features early 19th century surveyors could identify; in this case, Three Canyons.

A 200 year old brand brought back to life…

In order to receive the land grant, citizens needed to comply with several requirements, including raising livestock. Each family was given a cattle brand and a style of ear trimming to identify the herd’s ownership. Given that we haven’t herded cattle in nearly a hundred years, it seems fitting that our products (our stock) adorn the brand.
